No aftertaste!!
Found this product after being diagnosed with diabetes. At last a sweetener without aftertaste! So I gave it a try,was I pleasantly surprised. After a bit of experimenting, and a few teabags, I got the ratio right and have never looked back. It needs about a third more than sugar but NO calories for you diet nuts. I now use it as a sugar replacement in all my cooking . I would recommend this to anyone looking to quit sugar

Good flavour, little compromise.
This is a perfectly acceptable replacement for conventional sugar for baking and sweetening goods. I have baked muffins, brownies, made various desserts, sweetened porridge etc. with this and overall have been happy. However, and is well pointed out in the reviews already, there is a “cooling” after effect that can be a little unsettling for people. It does not bother me, but my partner really doesn’t like it, to the point where she will not consume stuff that I’ve made using it!The best “use” of this cooling effect has been in chocolate mint brownies, where it actually pairs up pretty well (and is the only thing my partner has enjoyed eating with it in).The packaging is good, however on my first packet of this, the resealable component broke away from the side of the pouch before I was even half way through it, which was a bit annoying.Overall, I think this is an excellent product, and with any replacement in cooking where one of the main benefits is lower/no calories, there’s going to be some compromise. The compromise is acceptable to me because it allows me to create more low cal, high volume baked goods that fit into my eating regime.

Good value. Tastes nice.
Using it for ketogenic based diet baking and cooking. I find the taste nice. There is the ‘cooling’ feeling afterwards but only really if you are using it ‘raw’, if you will. In baking there is no cooking effect. Will continue to purchase.

The Best Alternative of Sugar – No Bitter Aftertaste!
Took me a little while to understand how much I should be putting in stuff, but once I got the hang of it I know I’ll now never go back to conventional sugar if I don’t have to.I’ve tried many a different sweetener over the past couple of years, as I’m an avid fan of the low sugar diets out there. However, I’ve never come across something with such a similar taste and texture to that of granulated white sugar.Unlike other sweeteners, this also doesn’t leave a bitter aftertaste in your mouth, and instead tastes great in everything from baking, to sprinkling on cereal and in coffee.Would highly recommend.

Just like sugar and no aftertaste
This stuff is brilliant, just like sugar but with no calories and no horrible aftertaste that you get from Stevia. So far I’ve only used it to make Elderflower Cordial, which usually has so much sugar in that your teeth fall out just looking at it! It tasted great, and I can drink it all day knowing its calorie-free. Great product and delivered next day.

Difficult to tell apart from the real thing and 0kcal, what’s not to love?!
Ive had this a few times now and it still kafuddles my brain how similar it tastes to granulated sugar and that it’s 0kcal.I’ve got friends who don’t have sugar free anything and got them to try a teaspoon of this and they think it’s sugar, it’s genuinely so similar it’s difficult to tell apart. There is a very mild cooling effect, which is how I can tell the difference but as someone has already said, there’s no hideous aftertaste like you get with most sweeteners, it’s just bizarre to think there’s nothing in it to make your teeth rot, get fat or screw with your blood sugars, it’s absolutely replaced sugar for me.It is expensive (roughly 3 times the price of sugar), but given its perks, it’s totally worth it.Now all I need to do is get the super fine erythritol and do some baking as well, it’s gonna be awesome.

Nice replacement
Not sure how good this is for your health, probably not the best thing, but for a temporary use it does the job perfectly when you want to wean yourself off of sugar! No aftertaste like stevia and only 1 tsp on my morning porridge makes it just delicious, without any side effect for me.

Best zero calorie sugar substitute I have tried so far
I bought this with trepidation because I have not found a sugar substitute I like except agave – which is not suitable on a keto diet and has calories! I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. This is the best sugar substitute I have found to date. To me it tastes alright, with only a very slight aftertaste but it’s not unpleasant and far less than other sweeteners. I find I need to use about a third more than sugar for required sweetness in coffee. I have not tried it for baking. I would recommend it and will buy it again.

I was cynical
about this product. I have tried Stevia as a sugar alternative but found it left a nasty aftertaste. I was dubious about buying this product but am glad that I did. I took the plunge after having read that Tom Kerridge used it when trying to lose weight and that he cooks with it in his recipes. I do not normally use sugar in tea or coffee but I do use sugar/sweetener when cooking with tomatoes and some asian dishes. I have found it a good substitute for sugar but a word of warning do not over do it. When first using, start off with a little until you find the desired quantity for the amount of taste you need. Best to err on the side of just under sweet and not go full out for an OTT sweetness.

Convincing sugar substitute, though expensive.
I started using this product nearly a year ago having been diagnosed as pre diabetic. I didn’t want to use artificial sweeteners so did a bit of research and found Erithrytol, a natural product which doesn’t harm your teeth or raise blood sugar at all. I mainly use it in my tea or coffee and on cereals but I have made a fruit cake and a banoffee pie with it and both were successful, although the caramel base in the baniffee was more like fudge than caramel, still yummy though. It’s only about 70% as sweet as sugar but if you want it sweeter you use a little more.My only gripe is the price, it’s expensive for something used as a basic everyday item.Because if Covid and lockdown I haven’t had a blood test since January so can’t report whether my blood sugar levels have dropped. I do hope so.Would recommend if your wallet can stand the price.

Love it, been using for years without a problem.
We have been using this as sugar substitution for years. Really happy with it. In fact we tried several other options and always ended up back with this. We use it like for like to sugar – i.e. if I was to use a tbs of sugar for something I just use a tbs of this. Honestly if some ppl think that a sweetener will be same tastes as sugar they are lying to themselves.1kg last long as well and we are a family of 3. I would also definitely recommend this for a great sugar substitute for someone on diet and looking to loose weight. My wife after giving birth to our son, she has now lost about 30kgs so far and still going – of course she was eating well and does exercise, however if she did not care about swapping small things like sugar she would not have achieved her goals. Letting go of bad sugar and salt are a start of healthy lifestyle. This product is definitely recommended.P.S there a lot of fake reviews – I can confirm that ours is genuine and we did not get gifts or pay to write the above 🙂

Great sweetener
I’ve tried a number of sweeteners along the years and they all have either a synthetic taste or a horrible metallic aftertaste. Once I started the Keto diet I ordered this product and it tastes very nice, with no aftertaste. You do need to add more quantity than you would sugar, by about 1 & 1/2 times. In tea works great, same for baking and pancakes. The only downside is if you use too much of it you might get a cooling tingling effect in your throat that’s a bit unpleasant.Nevertheless, happy with it and the decent price too.

This makes keto fun!
This makes keto fun! Well, keto is already fun (hello bacon and eggs) – but erythritol really opens things up.First of all, this is non-GMO – tick.Second, it REALLY looks and feels like sugar meaning it can be used as a direct replacement giving you that satisfying sugary crunch (I coat almonds in coconut oil and erythritol and bake for 10 mins, giving me warm sweet treats). It definitely isn’t as sweet as sugar, especially if you are still eat other carbs like fruit. But because I am on keto (zero carbs), I am hyper-sensitive to sweetness and this stuff is stunning to me.
